FAQ

Who can join a kitesurf or wingfoil course?
To take part in one of our courses, you need to be at least 12 years old and able to swim, in line with IKO safety standards.
Younger participants may sometimes get the chance to try it, but in that case we offer a tailored introduction rather than a full course. This might include, for example, training-kite exercises on land and simpler water exercises together with an instructor.
If you have any medical conditions or are unsure about your physical fitness, we recommend checking with your doctor before booking.

When do the courses take place?
We run courses daily from May to September, as long as wind and weather conditions allow. Start times and duration may vary depending on when the wind picks up, but we aim to keep courses within the 9:00 – 17:00 time frame.

Where are the courses held?
We usually run our courses in Mellbystrand, which offers shallow water, plenty of space, and generally great beginner conditions. If the weather or water is better elsewhere, we’ll move the session there. Our training spots range from Ängelholm and Båstad in the south to Halmstad and Falkenberg in the north.

What should I bring on the day?
Bring a towel and weather-appropriate clothing – the wind can feel chilly even on warm days. We also recommend bringing something to eat and drink, as we take breaks during the course and it’s important to keep your energy up.
The course is physically demanding, so make sure you’re well-rested and ready for an active day.

How do I book a course?
You can call us on +46 70 721 99 55 or send us a booking request.

Can the course run if there’s no wind?
Unfortunately not. We need enough wind strength and the right wind direction. If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll reschedule to a new date with a better forecast.
We usually confirm about 2 days in advance whether the course can go ahead, but please note that weather can change quickly – sometimes the wind shifts or drops unexpectedly, which can affect the session.

Which course is right for me?

Is the equipment included in the course price?
Yes – all necessary rental gear is included (kite, board, wetsuit, etc.). You’re welcome to bring your own wetsuit if it’s suitable for the weather conditions.

What’s the cancellation policy?
Free rebooking/cancellation up to 4 days before the course.
⚠ Later cancellations: 50% of the course price will be charged.
